In this amazing day we´ll go for a quick but rewarding tour around Boquerías´s Market, followed by a warm an relaxed Paella lunch in a lovely apartment just 5 minutes walking away! I will show you where I buy all the fresh ingredients for the Paella, and we will walk through the fabulous market, my favorite place in Barcelona, so that you can see in detail how one of the most iconic markets in Europe lives. From there we will go to my house, where we will have appetizers, I´ll teach you how to prepare the Spanish "bread with tomato", we will make sangria together, and the delicious Catalan cream for dessert, while we wait for the Paella :). All this in a beautiful living room with balconies to the Ramblas, with soft drinks, beer and good wines, it´ll be a day that you will enjoy a lot! Other things to note Just dress comfortably and consider the weather since we´ll walk a few minutes (5) from the market to the apartment. Després de 45 minuts de viatge en furgoneta, arribarem a Montserrat on començarem el dia visitant el monestir i descobrint els seus secrets i apassionat història. Montserrat es una muntanya amb una llarga història i envoltada mitologia i llegendes. Des de que la Moreneta fou trobada en una cova per uns pastors, fins als nostres dies nombroses històries i llegendes se situen a la màgica muntanya. Començant per la que fa referència a la seva formació per part dels àngels que la serraren amb serra d’or, la del Cavall Bernat o del Fra Garí repassarem algunes de les llegendes que s’han anat transmetent de generació en generació. Una vegada visitat el Monestir, ens prepararem i començarem la nostra ruta de senderisme. La Muntanya de Montserrat ha estat sempre un lloc amb una energia especial i forta espiritualitat que des de temps immemorials ha atret nombroses persones. Al segle XI a Montserrat ja hi havia uns 300 ermitans vivint en coves en el més absolut recolliment. La comunitat es va mantenir fins al segle XIX i ha deixat a la muntanya un ric patrimoni en forma d’ermites. Seguint camins creats per pelegrins i ermitans descobrirem algunes de les ermites de la màgica muntanya, situades en indrets ben amagats envoltats de paisatges d’una bellesa que mai no hauríem imaginat trobar. Durant el recorregut reviurem la peculiar i desconeguda forma de viure dels ermitans i gaudirem d’espectaculars vistes des d’algunes mirandes solitàries. Després d’admirar els grans paisatges, descobrir l’apassionant història que amaga la muntanya i reviure algunes de les seves llegendes començarem a baixar per un camí a través dels boscos de la muntanya que ens portarà de tornada al monestir, on tindrem una mica de temps lliure abans de tornar cap a Barcelona. During our sunset or day sailing cruise you will participate in a unique sailing experience. You will enjoy 2 hours of sailing, leaving and returning from Barcelonas beautiful Port Olimpic. We will sail out 3 to 4 miles and then tack back to sail against the skyline of Barcelona. During our cruise you will enjoy free catalan cava. You can actively participate in the sailing event or just be carried along enjoying the cruise. We leave from Barcelona Port Olimpic. Meeting point is at the Moll de la Marina 3. Once we leave the port we set the main sail and genoa sail and start sailing towards the November Buoy. There we tack and sail back enjoying the views. During our event you can get to learn the basic sailing procedures, enjoy a relaxing open air activity and have excellent and unique views of Barcelona. Reception with a cava glass at our rooftop in a very hip loft space in the creative industry district of Poble Nou, with a unique terrace facing the Villa Olimpica skyline, as part of the Air B n’B Experiences. Then a brief explanation of the traditional rice dish, We will start by preparing the broth, cutting all the vegetables and preparing the seafood.
